Fallen for you I can't deny. I took one look
at you and said, "that's one man that I've
got to try". I'm glad you didn't keep passin'
me by.

Have I fallen in the hands of grace or am I looking
in danger's face? Whoa, I think I need to slow this
down to a steady pace.

Have I lost my mind or is the man upstairs trying
to show me a sign? Is he sayin' you should be the
tie that binds my heart to your heart, without any
breakage in the line.

Somebody please tell me to slow down. So my
heart won't be broken and bound. And not
stepped on by Timberland boots on the
concrete ground.

My eyes have seen the face of pain. Wondering will my tears stop the rain. Going out of my mind and trying to stay sane. Out of breath as the sweat hits my lip.
